Overview:
The objective of this acquisition is to provide professional Maintenance Temps who are skilled in the building trades to assist with the general maintenance duties and/or remodeling projects. Potential duties shall include general maintenance tasks such as simple construction, repairs to roadways and walks, routine preventative maintenance, heavy janitorial, and general services work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Simple construction (painting, fencing, drywall repair/replacement, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, metalworking, steam fitting, refrigeration, HVAC, and/or masonry).
- Use of common maintenance tools and equipment, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, levels, shovels, saws, planes, levels, gauges, and meter squares.
- Routine preventative maintenance and work order completion.
- Inspecting buildings and grounds for adherence to institutional safety and sanitary regulations.
- Providing services in areas of extreme heat or cold and/or requirement of heavy lifting (ex: furniture or equipment).
- Preparing reports and/or keeping records.
- Estimating time and materials required for an assignment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or related field
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Three (3) references from the past five (5) years to prove your experience.
- Provide documentation of completed COVID-19 vaccination. Or willing to get vaccinated
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Have existing cleaning experience.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Take pride in and are dedicated to their work.
- Have high standards of cleanliness.
