Shenandoah Community Health Clinic is seeking highly professional and experienced Licensed Professional Counselors and/or Licensed Clinical Social Workers to provide outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in Shenandoah County, Virginia. License-eligible Residents in Counseling and Supervisees in Social Work are STRONGLY encouraged to apply.
Shenandoah Community Health Clinic is a non-profit agency that helps under-served families in an integrated care setting, providing Behavioral Health, Medical and Dental services. The clinic has been serving the area for over 20 years.
Strong candidates will be self-starters with excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills. Counseling services may be provided in our clinic in Woodstock, VA, and/or in elementary, middle, and high schools within Shenandoah County, so experience coordinating and collaborating with school staff and administrators is a plus.

Schedule:
- Daytime hours.

Ideal candidates must hold active licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia in one of the following:
1) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to children and adults as decided by the treatment plan and document the sessions.
- Develop psychotherapy plans with goals and objectives.
- Serve as a member of the treatment team.
- Provide consultative Services to team members, when appropriate.
- Complete and all required documentation in a timely fashion as required by licensing standards.
- When necessary, serve as a liaison between SCPS and other community-based treatment professionals.
- Abide by company policy when receiving a subpoena for records and/or court appearances.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.

- Deliver services that are sensitive to client’s cultures.
