Dr. Gold Jewelry and Diamonds is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only proficient in administrative duties but also exhibits a passion for the jewelry industry. Our ideal candidate will support our office with a variety of tasks, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to our commitment to excellence in customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize office schedules, appointments, and meetings.
- Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle correspondence, draft emails, and prepare reports as required.
- Provide support in managing inventory and processing orders.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and social media management.
- Operate a range of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other organizational tools.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Previous experience in the jewelry industry is considered an asset but not required.
Work Hours:
- The position is full-time, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may be required based on company needs.
Compensation:
- $15 - $17 per hour, commensurate with experience.
