Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Business Development/Sales
- Prospect for new business, developing relationships with internal and new external commercial clients. Plans and maintains adequate cold and warm calls.
- Represents the company at various events, organizations, and associations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to new business.
- Prepares and presents proposals in a complete and professional manner, according to company standards.
- Maintains record and tracking of all proposals in progress and provides timely follow-up to maximize sales opportunities and meet assigned goals. Aggressively pursues all proposals in progress.
- Helps to maintain a company-owned database of current customers, prospective customers, and past customer's sales efforts.
- Proactively presenting site enhancement ideas to your clients based on observations of required landscape improvements.
- Generate referrals from existing commercial maintenance clients.
- Develop accurate hand-offs and estimates for new and existing clients
- Involved in branch growth through sales and marketing initiatives.
Account Managing
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and ensuring complaints are mitigated by proactively ongoing communication.
- Promotes high standards for customer service, safety culture, and a positive team environment.
- Scheduling and performing periodic site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
- Issue monthly site visit reports to clients, provided by the Quality Control Manager.
- Handles high-level conflict and provides resolutions that are beneficial to the client without negatively impacting the operation.
Operational
- Work closely with the production staff regarding scheduling of maintenance and irrigation, quality, and customer service. Promotes a positive atmosphere and culture for all team members.
- Assists with the hiring, disciplinary action, training, and mentoring of maintenance and irrigation production staff.
- Conducts regular monthly site visits and communicates to appropriate parties any problem areas and works to find an immediate resolution.
- Provides and facilitates team support as needed.
- Provides excellent organizational management, leadership, and communication between clients, Quality Control, and maintenance team.
- Collaborates with the Field Operations Manager, Office Operations Manager, and maintenance team to ensure profitability goals are in alignment for contracted services and labor management.
- Assists the Office Operations Manager in the hiring, disciplinary action, training, and mentoring of crew members.
- Provides feedback and support to accounts receivables for collections of accounts.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Bilingual-English and Spanish
- Customer service/sales experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience or being in a leadership role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Valid Washington Driver’s License and the ability to pass a driving background check
- Effective time management skills
- Strong organization skills

- Flexible and willing to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Push, pull, grip, and squeeze various tools and products.
- Work is performed in the office and field. Travel may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
