ROTATIONAL MOLDING MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
The Manufacturing Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of manufacturing processes, ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently and effectively. This role coordinates between various departments to ensure that all production requirements are communicated clearly and fulfilled on time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a keen eye for detail. This role is on-site, based out of Houston, TX.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating production of the company’s products.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure materials are ordered and received on time to meet production needs.
- Maintain database for daily production reporting and quality control results.
- Report production status and any production issues to upper management
- Ability to adjust quickly in the event of production disruptions and productivity challenges.
- Monitor production standards and work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all products meet the required specifications.
- Function as a liaison between production, warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with logistics personnel to schedule shipments.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve production processes and reduce cost.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and management.
- Ensure compliance withal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health & Safety guidelines and company policies.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a coordinating role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees.
- Coaching skills with the ability to motivate employees.
- Proficient in MS Office and production planning software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required
- Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- 6+ years Production Scheduling/Coordinating
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
