Position Summary
Directs, supervises and coordinates functions and activities in assigned areas of responsibility. Assumes total administrative responsibility for the operation of the clinic. Consults with and advises the Hospital Administrator on problems relating to the operation of the Clinic. Recommends changes in policy, facilities, equipment and programs. Provides leadership, direction and administration of clinic operations.
Position Accountabilities
1. Supervises all Clinic staff and daily clinic functions.
2. Assist and report on all clinic functions deemed necessary by Administration or the Medical Director.
3. Creates and monitors monthly or quarterly reports and maintains clinic Policies and Procedures.
4. Assumes responsibility and is self-motivated.
5. Demonstrates knowledge through compliance with all hospital/clinic policies, procedures and protocols.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position Accountabilities
Minimum Education Minimum of an Associates Degree, or a combination of relevant education and experience. Demonstrates proficiency at managing accounts, supervising personnel and dealing with the public.
Physical Demands Must be able to work 8-9 hours; sit 6 or more hours of normal shift; bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level; lift supplies weighing less than 25 lbs.
Working Conditions Must be flexible. Regularly scheduled hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Exposure to sick patients, equipment, and staff noise and interruption. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Understand and honor requirements of patient confidentiality.
