Better Together PAC Services is hiring for a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Cleveland, OH! The Direct Support Professional is responsible to provide direct supports to the individuals served, including, but not limited to: assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation, completion of various household tasks, and personal care assistance. This person will also be taking clients to concerts, movies, and fun activities!
Direct Support Professional Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $ $13-$15 an hour depending on experience with a possible raise after 90 days
- Schedule: Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:
- Follow the Individual Support Plan to assist the individual in achieving his/her goals.
- Support individuals in their daily life activities i.e.: cooking, cleaning, dressing, bathing based on their level of need.
- Observe individuals and report any significant changes in behavior to Residential Coordinator and Program Director.
- Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments and appropriately deal with emergency situations.
- Ensure that medication is stored properly.
- Understand company policies and procedures and is familiar with individuals rights and ensures that they are protected.
- Report any unusual incidents and follow proper procedure.
- Complete necessary program documentation in a clear, concise and timely fashion.
- Act as a role model for individuals served.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Direct Support Professional Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Pass and maintain Med Pass Certification.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than four points, eligibility under our insurance carrier. Maintain an acceptable driving record adhering to all driving laws and Rose-Mary Center regulations pertaining to driving.
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and program staff via open communication in a positive and constructive manner.
- Must have a cooperative, caring nature, and ability to work in a stressful situation in a calm therapeutic manner.
