We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused MDS Assistant. Candidates must a current Florida State LPN license, MDS experience, and a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: Full-time, Monday - Friday
The MDS Assistant at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is an LPN who is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, maintenance, and timely completion of the MDS, care plans and medical records for residents.
The MDS Assistant will assist with services including but not limited to:
- Coordinates, conducts, and completes the MDS, resident care plans and conferences on the computerized system.
- Assessing and monitoring patients' health in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
- Assures accuracy and completeness of entire medical record.
- Ensures MDS electronic submission occurs per State regulations.
- Participates in family/resident care plan conferences.
- Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation.
- Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
- Weigh and measure residents as instructed.
- Answer resident calls as promptly as feasible.

Skills and Qualifications:
LPN currently licensed by State of Florida. Current CPR certification. In-depth experience and knowledge working with MDS computer software. Experience with the MDS transmittal process and understanding regulations impacting the MDS.
