Job Responsibilities
· Fundraising
· Communicate effectively with the Board and provide, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions.
· Prepare and distribute agendas and minutes for Board of Director meetings and support committee chairs in management tasks related to the committees.
· Work with the Board President on tasks related to the Executive Committee.
· Responsible for the fiscal integrity of the non profit, to include submitting a proposed annual budget to the Board and collaborating with the Board Treasurer to present monthly financial statements which accurately reflect the financial condition of the organization.
· Prepare and distribute an annual report.
· Work in conjunction with Board of Directors to secure resources through fundraising and sponsorships to support the mission.
· Implement programs.
· Event coordination.
· Promote the organization by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with professional, civic, and private organizations.
· Work with the Board President to ensure tasks are in alignment with Board needs and goals.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Strong work ethic demonstrating integrity and professionalism
· Budget management: preparation, analysis, reporting
· Strong organizational skills including planning, program development and implementation, and task facilitation
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Ability to convey the mission and programs of the non profit to potential board members, volunteers, and donors
· Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations
· Skills to collaborate with and motivate Board Members and other volunteers
· Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups
· Strong public speaking skills
· Skill with accounting, word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentations, social media, marketing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
