Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regarding the sale and service of alcohol
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquet events or catering services
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ability to mix and garnish drinks according to recipes or customer preferences
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Attention to detail for accurately taking orders and handling cash transactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations in the restaurant or catering industry
Note: Previous experience working as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and willingness to learn.
