This position is responsible for making and serving nutrition meals for students in grades 7-12. Looking for a energetic, creative individual that loves working in a team and enjoys children. Individual will: * Coordinate all preparation and serving of hot food according to National School Lunch and National School Breakfast program standards and regulations using recipes and CN labels. * Forecast production amounts with the Manager.
Maintain production records with usage, yield and serving size information.* Perform temperature checks on equipment and food as necessary to ensure food safety; maintain HACCP logs. * Follow state, federal and local sanitation and safe food handling requirements as outlined in the Food Safety Manual * Read, understand and collect food allergy information.* Be responsible for keeping a clean and organized work station and equipment.* Performs additional cleaning duties as needed including deep cleaning of equipment and work areas, sweeping floors, dish washing and wiping cafeteria and serving tables* Perform all other duties as assigned.
