AUTOMOTIVE SALES / AUTO SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Forrester Lincoln in Chambersburg, PA, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers find their ideal vehicles, providing exceptional service throughout the sales process, and contributing to the overall success of our dealership.
Primary Job Description
- Sales Representatives spend time with customers to determine their automotive needs
- Sales Representatives commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of Lincoln vehicles and technology
- Sales Representatives test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features
- Present quotes and explain financing options
- Communicate with prospective customers via email, phone, text, chat
- Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed. Our automotive sales representatives come from a variety of backgrounds and industries. You don’t have to have automotive sales experience to be successful but you should have experience providing exceptional customer service and previous sales experience is a plus.
- Excellent appearance, communication, and presentation skills
- Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
- Bilingual not required, but would be a plus
- Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
- Basic MS Office knowledge and general computer skills
- Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
- Valid U.S. Driver's license
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
