We are seeking an Assistant Program Director who will support individuals in learning the skills that they need to become independent within the community. The ideal candidate will be motivated to form new community partnerships which will allow us to develop new activities and engagement for the individuals we serve.
This position pays $26.00 per hour with regularly scheduled increases and opportunities for growth.

Job Description
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for supporting the operations of the Santa Rosa, CA Resource Center. This program is designed to support people's independence in the community. The focus is on volunteering, employment, travel training, purchasing and money management, continuing education, and behavioral self-regulation. The goal of the program is to teach each person the skills they need to become independent within the community.
Your Role:
- Creating Impactful Programs: Design and develop group activities, workshops, and community partnerships that help individuals become more independent.

Leading with Purpose: Oversee the Santa Rosa Resource Center's operations, ensuring high-quality program offerings and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Inspiring Community Connections: Forge new partnerships to expand our activities and engagement opportunities.

Managing with Excellence: Handle Budgeting, workshop calendars, and provide leadership to our dedicated staff.
If you have previous supervision experience and have also worked in positions supporting summer or day camp activities, working as a paraeducator in a school setting, or have a background in sales or development, this position would likely be an ideal fit for you.
Qualifications
What makes you a great fit:

Experience: One year in a management or supervisory role and two years in the human services field.

Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, especially with a background in psychology or mental health.

Skills: Experience developing activities and workshops. You're driven, self-motivated, and passionate about forming community partnerships.

Resilience: Comfortable supporting clients with verbal aggressions or self-injurious behaviors.

Bonus: Psychology or mental health background preferred

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
