Job Summary:
The EEC Certified Assistant Director at Tiny Hands Enrichment Center plays a vital leadership role, ensuring the smooth operation of the center by implementing policies, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of care and education. This position requires the ability to step into the Director's role in their absence and ensure all center activities align with EEC guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to support and guide staff.
- Implement the rules and policies of the center and EEC guidelines.
- Step into the Director's role when the Director is absent.
Operational Management:
- Oversee child enrollment processes and maintain compliance with EEC regulations.
- Conduct staff evaluations to support professional growth and uphold high-quality standards.
- Ensure teachers are planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculums.
- Manage the opening and closing of the center.
Communication:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
- Uphold staff orientation programs for new hires and conduct regular staff meetings.
Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the center, adhering to health and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- EEC Certification as a Director or Assistant Director.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of EEC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.

Pay: $25.50 - $28.00 per hour
