Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Supervisor
Shift: Sunday-Tuesday Alternating Saturdays 6:00pm-6:00am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Responsible for performing a variety of routine maintenance in and around freeze-dried production facility according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain projects or tasks to keep the business in proper working order.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and mechanical inclination. Associates in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

Craft apprenticeship or equivalent years of experience. Experience with PLC and HVAC preferred.

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.

The job is performed under some temperature variations and in a food manufacturing office environment.
