We are looking for a Calibration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing. As a Calibration Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments, tools, and electronic equipment. You’ll perform calibrations, adjustments, and verifications according to established procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate a wide range of equipment, including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and more.
- Conduct precision measurements using traceable standards.
- Document calibration results, maintain records, and update calibration certificates.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with faulty instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on calibration equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent in electronics, engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures, metrology, and measurement uncertainty.
- Proficiency in using calibration software and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- Calibration technicians work in laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and repair centers.
- Some positions may involve occasional travel for on-site calibrations.
- Adherence to ISO standards and quality management systems is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
