The System Administrator will be responsible for hardware, application, and system administration support for AI application instances as required by our government client.
Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day system and network operations of all application environments.

As a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), serve as the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) expert for GPO's GovInfo by implementing, administering, and maintaining the GovInfo Linux servers to support day- to-day operations including Red Hat Satellite Server administration and the application of patches and security updates.

Administer custom scripts and applications for GovInfo to manage system resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability by administering centralized custom logging, monitoring, and alerting services.

Administer custom scripts and applications for GovInfo to manage system resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability by administering centralized custom logging, monitoring, and alerting Work outside of normal business hours to support outage resolution, planned maintenance, or to implement an upgrade.

Create automated tests to support all applicable levels of the test pyramid
Basic Qualifications

7 years' experience as a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) implementing, administering, and maintaining servers including:
-
Installing new or modified existing hardware, operating systems, configurations, and software applications.

Applying patches and security updates.
-
Managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
-
Resolving hardware-software interface and interoperability issues.
-
Manage system resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.

3 years of experience with NetApp Filers and HP Synergy Blades
-
2 years of experience with Virtualization/container tools including VMware, vSphere, Docker, Kubernetes
-
2 years of experience supporting full lifecycle development environment including modern systems environment including cloud.

2 years of experience with hardware and software load balancers, networking, DNS, common enterprise network hardware
-
2 years of experience leading infrastructure initiatives and providing technical expertise in designing infrastructure and storage solutions.

2 years of Experiencing authoring, editing, and maintaining design documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configuration documentation.
-
3 years of experience with DevOps, test driven development, and test automation for all levels of the test pyramid.

2 years of experience with account Management Tools such as Active Directory, LDAP 3 Compliant Application Directories, identity management.
2 years of experience using ISO 14721 OAIS and ISO 16363 TDR
