*Shift: 7:30am-3:30pm Starting beginnning of August*
- Child Development: Implementing developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers to promote their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Curriculum Planning: Designing and executing lesson plans that align with Early Head Start guidelines and the daycare's curriculum framework.
- Parent Engagement: Building positive relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication, conferences, and workshops to support children's development at home.
- Health and Safety: Ensuring a safe and healthy environment by following health and safety protocols, conducting regular health checks, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keeping accurate records of children's progress, observations, and any incidents, and preparing reports as required by Early Head Start and daycare policies.
- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other educators and staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and Early Head Start standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: A minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early chilhood development with a focus on infant and toddlerdevelopment.
- Experience: Experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or Early Head Start program is often preferred.
