Full Job Description:
The Torah Academy of Jacksonville (TAJ) is seeking to hire a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join its team of professionals. This position will be working in our Orthodox Jewish N-12 School. This is a forward facing highly visible role serving as the first point of contact for our school families.
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM
Friday 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM
12-month position

Skills and Qualifications:
· Prior secretarial experience in a school setting preferred.
· High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, and Google Suite. Strong secretarial and organizational skills.
· Critical attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Capability to quickly learn and apply new technology.
· Able to work collaboratively in a team, as well as ability to work independently.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to have strong, positive communication and interaction skills when dealing with co-workers, students, administrators, and parents.
· High degree of accuracy, accountability, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
· Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
· Answer incoming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel.
· Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
· Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
· Coordinate events and meetings as needed.
· Provide administrative support to various departments.
· Maintain security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges.
· Sign for and distribute packages and mail.
· Update and maintain mailing lists and produce mailing labels and reports as requested.
· Order supplies and monitor inventory.
· Maintaining FACTS management systems.
· Attendance record keeping.
· Correspondences.
· Provide medical care to students in accordance with school policies and procedures.
· Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
