PAI is currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician for our Engineering Department.
The successful candidate shall be able to demonstrate technical skills for the evaluation and fabrication of electrical equipment used in testing aircraft components.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting electrical issues that arise for aircraft parts, test stands, and test equipment.
- Creating and designing test boxes by following customer provided electrical schematics.
- Developing conceptual designs for internal test equipment using block diagrams, circuit schematics, and breadboard engineering.
- Executing/leading/coordinating design and fabrication of tools and electronic test equipment.
- Assisting with electrical test equipment maintenance and repair.
- Selecting components to meet test equipment requirements.
- Analyzing test procedures to ensure they meet customer and manufacturer standards.
- Working with engineers and internal/external customers to ensure test equipment meets customer and product needs.
Requirements:
- 2 years minimum of hands-on experience in assembling and testing electrical devices.
- Proven ability to see test hardware through each phase of the engineering process from design and fabrication to implementation.
- Excellent soldering abilities and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Salary: $50k – $65k DOE
Monday – Friday: 8AM – 5PM
