KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *** MUST BE RELIABLE ****
- Arrive in time to begin working promptly at 9:00 a.m.
- Review insurance notices and expired insurance report. Work to obtain up to date insurance information on accounts that are not in compliance with contracts. Update all necessary information in IDMS.
- Work delinquency list. Call every number to attempt direct contact with the customer. After 5 days attempt to verify employment. After 10 days pull reference list in the system and try these numbers. If references are missing from the profile, add them. Review prior notes and account history before attempting to make contact. In the event a customer needs an extension work to obtain proof of cause, good faith payment and solid plan to bring account current. Create PTP’s when necessary and add to arrangements spreadsheet.
- Take lunch at your discretion. Lunch is 30 minutes. This is the only meal that may be eaten at your desk. If you choose to eat at your desk make sure to hang the sign directing traffic to the other available window.
- Work first through fifth payments each afternoon. Saturdays work the list once in the morning and again in the afternoon.
- Take incoming calls collectively with manager. Document all conversations on the customer’s account in IDMS. Relay messages as necessary.
- Receive and post payments accordingly. Be sure to enter payment types for each receipt. Attempt to complete one transaction before moving on to the next. Write first initial and last name at the top of credit card receipts to ensure they are posted correctly in the event of a backup in payments/calls.
- Make early cash drops to keep cash on hand below $1000 as time allows. Keep cash discreet in case a customer walks into the building.
- Count down cash drawer and reconcile accordingly based on payment vs CPI. Print and include proper reports in each envelope. Print and batch credit card machine. Print reports and attach to batch receipt. Place all cash in safe before leaving for the day.
- Hours Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm; Friday 9 am to 6 pm; Saturday 9 am to 4 pm ( You will have off one day thru the week and work every Saturday) Days off Tuesday's or Wednesday's.
