As a Museum Education Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing educational programs that not only engage diverse audiences but also contribute to the Wynwood Walls' mission of accessibility and relevance for all visitors.

Compensation:
$55k year
Essential Functions:
- Program Development: Design and develop innovative educational programs and tours for various audiences, including
school groups, families, adults, and community organizations.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of education staff, volunteers, and interns. Provide
ongoing professional development and performance evaluations.
- Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with local schools, educators, community groups, and
other stakeholders to promote the museum's educational offerings and foster collaborative partnerships.
- Evaluation and Assessment: Develop and implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of educational programs.
Use feedback to improve and adapt programs.
- Responsible for the implementation of educational initiatives, including:

Managing partnership logistics with MDCPS Division of Academics, Visual & Performing Arts

Managing relationships and logistics with the MDCPS Title One All access program.

American Alliance of Museums Membership.

Artist in residency program.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Museum Studies, Art History, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in museum education or a related field, with a track record of developing and managing educational programs.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in curriculum development and educational best practices.

Ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of audiences.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Proficiency with relevant technology, including educational software.
