Pedagogical Responsibilities:
- Observes each environment a minimum of every other week
- Meets with each Lead Guide within one day of observation
- Interviews and evaluates candidates for open positions
- Coordinates and leads monthly level meetings with Lead Guides
- Develops and presents parent training/ community engagement
- Coordinates student placement and transitions including phase-in schedules, keeps enrollment balanced
- Ensures AMS/ AMI compliance and maintains necessary paperwork
- Oversees the maintenance of environments inventories and submits material requests
- Ensures that there is supplies available for material making
- Provides tours to perspective families, manages CRM along with Office Manager
- Provides written Montessori content for publication twice per year
- Communicates with parent body by email regularly to update information or build community
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Facilitates payroll and monitors employees time clock, PTO, Staff Scheduling, etc.
- Works with billing to ensure a smooth process for parents
- Maintains controlling body status and relation with licensing authorities. Advise Corporate when policy changes or action may be necessary
- Maintains constructive liaison with other education institutions and associations. Is accessible, within reason, and responsive to all constituencies ? faculty, parents, students, the local community, and alumni
- Represents Corporate decisions and policies to parents when appropriate and communicates parent communicates parent concerns and suggestions
- Develops tactical plans with the help of Corporate to address demographics (financial, enrollment, academic, academic performance, impact, and influence of competition, etc.)
- Shares administrative responsibility for opening and closing duties o the school with the Office Manager and School Support
- Facilitates scheduling of staffing on a daily basis, along with the support of the Office Manager
- Maintains and files confidential records, such as employee records, student records, and family records, along with any notes and data related to those files
- Follows policies related to finance in the Parent-Student Handbook.
