We are actively recruiting a Grader/Dozer Operator for a joint venture project between Odin Environmental Solutions LLC and Morgan Mining and Construction LLC in Miami, AZ on the Pinto Creek Diversion Channel project.
MAJOR FUNCTION
Responsible for operating a dozer to excavate, perform fine and rough grading, use gps. grading systems, sloping, load materials and clean up in a variety of heavy construction operations. When not operating a dozer, may also operate other construction equipment and perform general labor tasks as required.

- Work cooperatively with the crew to accomplish tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe for use.
- Participate in training and other forms of development to strengthen technical, safety and other skills.
- Operate other construction equipment as required.
- Consistently monitor and maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment to include equipment operated.
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks as required for the job.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least 2 years’ previous experience operating a dozer
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) strongly preferred.
- Valid appropriate state driver’s license (general operator license) required; Class A or B CDL strongly preferred.
- OSHA 10 Certification is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the proper use of dozers and related materials and supplies used in heavy construction work.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions.
- Ability to work under general supervision according to work schedule.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Good communication skills to coordinate workflow with other crew members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing with vendors, management, and other coworkers, both individually and in front of a group
- Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents.
- Heavy lifting is expected, exertion of up to 50 pounds of force may occasionally be required
- Primarily a site position. Site visits and field project visits are required. Travel to offices and projects in various locations around the country as needed. The following physical activities are often, but not always, associated with site visits: Must be able to stand or walk on a project site for extended durations; When on project sites or if performing some types of work or activities, must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to earplugs, protective eyewear, gloves, hard hat, steel-toed work boots, and high visibility safety apparel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job is primarily performed in the field on a construction site.
The following environmental/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual working conditions will vary.
- Job site environment, including, but not limited to, machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dust, and fumes
- Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions
