Job Description: The Anesthesia Technician provides support for routine surgical/invasive procedure cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. Assists licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of the equipment and supplies for the administration of anesthesia.
Job Requirements: Completion of a program for emergency medical technician or nursing assistance is preferred. One year of acute hospital or patient care experience is preferred. BLS Certification is required. Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cert. A.T.) or equivalent is preferred.
