RN Coding AuditorJob Responsibilities:
In this role, you will conduct audits of Acute Inpatient coded charts to ensure the diagnostic information leading to the assignment can be substantiated by the documentation in the Medical Record. This position is a remote role.
RN Coding Auditor Preferred Skills:
· Hospital coding and auditing experience.
· DRG (diagnosis-related groups) Validation.
· ICD-10-CM coding and ICD-10-PCS coding.
RN Coding AuditorJob Qualifications:
· Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
· Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
· Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. Current license by their home state.
· Must have a current coding credential: AHIMA CCS or AAPC CPC-I.
· Must have one to three (1-3) years of IP DRG Validation experience in a production environment.
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$145,000/year. *
