Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom instruction
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for students
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or individualized education plans
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and resources
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
