VALID NURSING LICENSE able to work in MASSACHUSETTS- REQUIRED
About us
What makes Cadbury Commons different? We are family-owned and have been a part of the North Cambridge neighborhood since 1997. Many of our Residents hail from the Cambridge area, though others have come from all parts of the world. We We’ve had a relatively consistent group of Directors and staff that have been part of the Cadbury Commons family for 10+ years.
We are looking for a Director of Resident Care that has a passion for the older adult population (though young at heart), and ideally 3-5 years of nursing experience. Assisted Living is different from other healthcare positions in that we are first and foremost a home, we not a skilled care facility. We maintain a home environment for our Residents, and the role of the Resident Care Director is assessment-focused, and helping our Residents access the care they need: from ADL’s, IADL’s, to tracking up to date medications lists and supervising the care our Resident Assistants provide, triaging medical issues and creatively helping our Residents live their best lives.
Must have valid MA nursing license as a minimum requirement.
If this sounds like an opportunity that interests you, we welcome you to apply. Prior Assisted Living Experience not necessary, we will provide the necessary training for you to be successful. Assisted Living Residences are licensed by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and their families.
Salary is based on experience.
