The Opportunity:
We are offering an exciting and dynamic opportunity to work with early childhood individuals (ages birth-5 years) in a teaching position. You will be working in a diverse and inclusive environment of welcoming educators, students, children, and parents. We are looking for motivated, thoughtful, and intentional individuals who share a passion for a child-centered, play-based approach to educating children, to help build a strong personal and educational foundation for.

We have a number of partner schools in the area, once you apply, you'll be given a choice of locations based on your preferences, skills and experiences.
A day in a life:
Our ECE teachers operate in teams in each class to create a communal learning environment for all children. Teachers will help both lead and assist students through a daily schedule that may include group and independent play opportunities, art, STEM, reading, Social emotional learning, Jewish, story time, snack, lunch, outdoor exploration and more.

- Ability to build meaningful relationship with children and families
- Classrooms where all children are actively engaged in activities
- Consistent use positive guidance that supports the developmental, social-emotional, and physical needs of all students
- Positive and timely communication with all participants, families, and school personnel.
- Excellent collaboration among teaching teams with a team player attitude
- Excitement about classroom curriculum, continued learning, and growth and development as an educator
Position Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 12 units of Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (this is dependent on state)
- 6 months to 1 year of experience working in ECE or like setting
- Available for full and/or part time scheduled hours
- CPR/AED and First Aid, must include both Adult & Infant/Child, certified within 30 days of employment from one of the following: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute.
- Growth mindset and a desire to learn from children and adults alike
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, reach, walk, kneel, and to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
