Salary Range: 90,000 – 105,000 USD Annually
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
About the Position: This position is for a dynamic, high-performing Key Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about digital media and client success. Based in New York City, the position is responsible for managing accounts and developing business throughout the Northeast region. Some travel to clients and prospects and industry events is required. Best suited for an experienced Key Account Manager that enjoys cultivating relationships, leveraging data and providing innovative solutions to develop business. The Key Account Manager in this role will be representing our entire portfolio of legal media offerings (digital, custom marketing services and events) and working with vendors, service providers and ad agencies. This is a highly collaborative team environment in a corporate culture that recognizes and rewards top talent.
Responsibilities:
- Selling our integrated marketing solutions to vendors, service providers and ad agencies with multiple stakeholders, including C-Level executives
- Manage the sales process from initial client contact through post-sale follow-up
- Develop and grow sales through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship development
- Develop an understanding of our products and our industry and ensure prospects have a detailed understanding of products through a strategic selling approach
- Ability to take the client's perspective and develop strategic questioning techniques
- Strong ability to control the sales process, demonstrate products to specific value propositions, with a confident/professional closing expertise
- Utilize CRM to forecast, track and report sales activity
- Up to 15% travel will be involved
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree with 5+ years of experience in integrated media sales, digital and or a marketing, legal market or business to business sales background
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, through both electronic and face-to-face mediums
- Knowledge and ability to use Google Workspace, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM (Salesforce)
- Confident, enthusiastic, and credible professional manner
- Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasiveness and resilience
- Good self-management and initiative when working remotely, with the ambition and drive to excel
- Ability to build and maintain effective and lasting relationships with senior executives, marketing and business development professionals and other stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills
