SUMMARY: Manage all functions of a Branch with particular emphasis on managing a member driven sales and service environment. Plan, control, and direct the activities of branch personnel towards attainment of branch goals, leadership for sales, member service, regulatory, policy and compliance, facility management and proper credit quality and risk management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the management of the branch including the leadership of sales, member service, regulatory and compliance, and policy
- Direct the work of the branch staff
- Approach and initiate conversations with current and prospective members
- Accurately and efficiently handle member transactions including teller transactions, open new accounts, generate and close sound loans
- Ensure compliance with credit union internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies, BSA/AML programs as applicable to your job duties. Uphold OECU code of ethics and ensure that confidential information is safeguarded.
- Possess strong individual sales/referral performance skills in deposit and loan products.
- Coordinate and conduct marketing events within the community we serve.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One year of experience in sales, retail or banking environment; including sales management, customer experience and relationship management preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Language Skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as credit bureau reports, debt to income ratios, policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with borrowers and staff.
- Mathematical Skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rate, ratio, and percent, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where a considerable amount of standardization exists. Good analytical skills, necessary to evaluate credit requests, prepare budgets and determine trends in a given marketplace.
- Computer Skills: ability to operate a PC and typical business-oriented programs, including, but not limited to: Internet Explorer, email, Word documents, and spreadsheets. Ability to operate other general office machines and equipment such as copier, postage meter and printers.
- Leadership Skills: ability to manage and direct the work of others, ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously, ability to proactively solicit new business.
