Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data into our computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize computerized data entry equipment and various word processing software.
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files, and forms.
- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Compile, sort, and organize data to be entered into databases or electronic files.
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.
- Transcribe information into required electronic format.
- Assist with basic clerical tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficient in computerized data entry and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic math skills for accurate data entry.
- Previous experience in an office or clerical environment is a plus.
- Ability to transcribe information accurately.
- Familiarity with data collection processes.
