NAMHS is seeking a professional Level 1 or Level 2 IT Technician to join our team. The IT Technician will provide hardware and software installation and support to end-users. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, configurations, and maintenance of Mac and PC desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, and email systems. You will also manage data backup systems both onsite and off-site.
-The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of all Windows operating systems and Mac OS 10.7 to current, as well as business network environments including Active Directory, Windows Server OS, network device management, TCP/IP configuration, and DHCP. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining user account information, including rights, security, and groups, while thoroughly documenting operational procedures and workflows.
-Additionally, you will have the ability to train staff on technology concepts and equipment, while being comfortable with client interactions and consulting both in person and remotely (phone skills are essential). Familiarity with remote workstation support and troubleshooting, as well as knowledge and understanding of IT best practices, is also required.
-As technology continues to evolve, we require someone who is motivated to learn new concepts and able to follow problems through to the end with attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with little to no supervision or instruction, maintain a professional appearance at all times while at work, and have a strong attendance record and work ethic.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrade, configuration, setup and maintenance of both Mac and PC desktops, laptops, tablets, end user accounts, phone and email
- Understanding of all Windows operating systems and Mac OS 10.7 to current
- Knowledge of business network environments: Active Directory, Windows Server OS, network device management, TCP/IP configuration, DHCP
- Ability to support and maintain user account information including rights, security and groups
- Experience with data backup systems (onsite backup as well as off-site backup) and management
- Ability to document operation procedures and workflows thoroughly
- Capability to train staff on technology concepts and equipment
- Familiarity with remote workstation support and troubleshooting
- Knowledge and understanding of IT best practices
- Willingness to learn new concepts as technology changes
- Detail-oriented and able to follow problems through to resolution
- Strong communication skills for client interactions/consulting both in person and remotely (phone skills are essential)
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision or instruction
- Professional appearance and strong attendance record
