Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join our organization. In this role, you will float between the Men's Locker Room and the Recreation areas (tennis and pickleball, swim, fitness, and other areas as needed) and attend to the needs of members and guests while maintaining order and cleanliness. You will proactively greet guests and ensure member satisfaction standards are consistently attained. Your focus will be to provide patrons with an exceptional, highly serviceoriented experience at Brentwood Country Club. This position requires the highest standards of hospitality.
To ensure success as a Recreation & Men's Locker Room Attendant, you should have exceptional customer service skills and a sharp eye for detail. Ultimately, a top-notch candidate should display excellent standards throughout, and possess a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Promote Recreational activities and programs.
- Assist with Kids Club, kids programming, and any club events as needed
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
- Ensure member and guest safety by enforcing all Club rules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by always putting the members needs first, service
with a smile, and timely follow up (via email or phone call).
- String tennis rackets (training to be provided, if necessary)
- Follow most updated sec Recreation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) provided.
- Assist with the planning and execution of club programming, as needed.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and assist members as needed.
- Manage the tennis and recreation email addresses throughout the day.
- Supply towels and drinks to members and guests as needed.
- Coordinate the dropping off and picking up of dirty and clean towels from and to laundry
area.
- Ensure the pool area and fitness center is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
- Examples: kickboards, pull buoys, and toys.)
- Including dumbbells, weight plates, and bars. Disinfect all equipment.
Complete walk-th roughs of facilities to ensure an impeccable and tidy space (including the men and women's locker room).
- Washes and/or mops restroom floor, wipes mirrors, and walls; cleans basins, lavatories, and deep cleans showers, steam room and other special facilities and equipment in locker room.
- Vacuums carpet and rugs throughout locker room
- Restocks supplies such as tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, razors, aftershave lotion, etc.
- Performs services, for example: clean shoes, adjusts mirrors, etc.
- Provides for the safety and security of all members and guests
- Maintains inventory of supplies.
- Changes towels as needed and transports towels to and from the laundry area.
- Issues locker, keys, towels, etc., to members and guests, as needed.
- Maintains a list of occupied lockers.
- Cleans and empties garbage cans and baskets.
- Answers radio and telephone calls. Takes and delivers phone messages for members and guests.
- Remains attentive of radios and follows through with communication to teams.
- Cleans and maintains the steam room area.
- Maintains coffee and beverage and supplies; makes coffee; cleans beverage area as needed.
- Performs deep cleaning tasks as needed.
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supplies on a daily basis.
- Receives and greets members and guests in a friendly, welcoming and pleasant manner.
- Respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Completes other assignments made by the Locker Room Supervisor or Director of Recreation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- CPR, AED, and first aid certification preferred or will obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ask for help when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent lifting, bending climbing, stooping, and pulling of a minimum of 30 lbs., when
necessary, must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up 50 pounds
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Continuous standing and walking.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking; bend stoop, squat, kneel, bend at the knees, reach above the head, and climb and balance on a step ladder.
