Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects and ensure efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
-Performs preventative maintenance and makes repairs to HVAC and related mechanical equipment; plumbing and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
