The receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk and reception area of the organization. This person will be the first point of contact for customers and will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls, greeting and assisting customers, and performing administrative tasks as needed.
Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate indiciduals.
Schedule appointments and meetings as requested.
Receive and sort mail and packages.
Keep the reception area clean and organized.
Monitor and maintain office supplies.
Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
Respond to inquiries from customers or clients and direct them to the appropriate resources.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
