Description:The media buyer is responsible for purchasing all paid advertising to promote Gardner White Furniture products, services, and brands. The buyer will purchase all forms of media – including but not limited to: linear TV, OTT, social media, etc. The media buyer will work closely with the marketing teams to develop effective campaigns. This is a crucial role in ensuring that advertising campaigns effectively reach and engage the target audience while staying within budgetary constraints.
Job Description:
1. Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences, consumer behavior, and trends.
- Analyze data to determine the most effective media channels for reaching the target audience.
2. Media Planning:
- Develop and implement media plans based on campaign objectives, target demographics, and budget constraints.
- Select appropriate media channels such as TV, radio, print, digital, social media, and outdoor advertising.
3. Negotiation:
- Negotiate and purchase advertising space or time from various media outlets to secure the best rates and placements.
- Build and sustain relationships with media vendors to continuously understand the evolving landscape.
4. Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively to maximize the impact of campaigns.
- Monitor expenses and ensure campaigns stay within budget constraints.
5. Campaign Execution:
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure that ad materials are delivered to media outlets on time.
- Oversee the placement and scheduling of advertisements to optimize reach and frequency.
6. Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns using relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide regular reports to clients or internal stakeholders on the effectiveness of media campaigns.
7. Stay Informed:
- Stay updated on industry trends, media consumption patterns, and emerging advertising technologies.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and gather information.
Requirements: Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Previous experience in media buying, advertising, or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with media planning tools and software.
