Summary:
The Chief Pilot is responsible for overseeing all flight operations and ensuring that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently. They are responsible for managing a team of pilots and ensuring that all pilots are properly trained and certified. The Chief Pilot is also responsible for maintaining compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies. They will fly a Beechcraft Premier 1A aircraft during the flight.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all flight operations
- Manage a team of pilots
- Ensure that all pilots are properly trained and certified
- Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve flight operations
- Ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained and serviced
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently
- Provide leadership and guidance to all pilots
Requirements:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Experience managing a team of pilots
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in transportation, engineering or business field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pilot
