Job Summary
The Restaurant & Banquet Supervisor is responsible for meeting and exceeding our client's needs, restaurants' revenue, profitability, and quality goals. While working with the Food & Beverage Director and Management Team, you will ensure efficient restaurant operation, event execution and maintain high productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
Impact and Influence:
This position will interact on a regular basis with Food & Beverage Director, Management Team Operations Team, Culinary teams to create memorable restaurant experiences and flawless events for guests, clients & members.
Restaurant & Catering Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist coordination of the entire restaurant operation
- Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently to customer complaints
- Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible
- Assist and/or lead pre-shift on a daily basis
- Supervise shifts
- Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive
- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
- Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
- Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
- Perform & Monitor Setup & Breakdown of Events
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications
- Proven working experience as restaurant manager and/or Banquet Lead
- Demonstrated experience in customer service management
- Food and wine knowledge beneficial
- Proficiency in English
- Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant POS Systems
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally
- Great customer service skills including listening carefully and exercising patience.
