Do you enjoy helping people navigate the health insurance world?
We focus on the Medicare and the under 65 individual market. We help people understand their Medicare options and guide them to the plans that will help them in the long-term. We also write under 65 individual policies and small group policies.
What does my average day look like?
You will be part of a very capable service team to support our clients every step of the way. You will have a variety of responsibilities with a strong, comprehensive training program. The beauty of this position is the ability to think proactively and provide recommendations to make the business run efficiently and profitably.
How much experience should I have?
Ideally, you should have one year or more of experience in customer service and/or project coordination.
Customer Service/Project Coordinator Duties:
-Answer phones and greet clients
-Microsoft Office expertise, especially Word and Excel
-Provide aid to prospective & current clientele
-Coordinate kits for agent appointments
-Correspondence with insurance carriers (cancellation letters, change request, update issues)
-Add and maintain client information in CRM systems
-Upload monthly renewals from carriers into CRM
-Assist team with various projects
· Identify process improvement opportunities and develop plan to fix
· Streamline CRM opportunities to maximize value
· Organize online folders for each carrier
· Other projects as needed
-Assist with yearly open enrollment (October-December) 40+hours required weekly during this period
Requirements & qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Excellent communication skills
-Extremely detail oriented
-Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask
-Prior health insurance experience a plus, especially in Medicare
-Self-motivated and organized
-Go with the flow and adaptable attitude
-Flexible schedule during busy season (October to December each year)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
