Manage all shop activities and Service Technicians assigned to the OriginAir facility, including scheduling work and providing technical support and guidance.
Needs to have extensive knowledge of compressor systems; controls and VSD’s.
Manage and oversee all testing and quality control of repaired and rebuilt compressors, prior to resale into the market. Responsible for final inspect of all products to ensure they meet Atlas Copco’s standards.
Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors to determine possible causes for malfunctions, and train and guide shop technicians in corrective actions.
Evaluate shop activities and layout to ensure optimal use of space and personnel.
Serve as an ambassador for the company, promoting the Atlas Copco “Way”.
Manage the shop technicians daily activities and work performance.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

Experience
8-10 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing various types of Atlas Copco compressors. Strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of Atlas Copco compressors, including electrical, controls and VSD. Experience in HVAC a plus.

Salary range $90,000 to $110,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional technical training provided for the most qualified candidate.
