JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Credentials – Valid TN Occupational therapy license
· Candidates will report to Lead Occupational therapist/office manager of FSPT to ensure the process in development, implementation, and coordination of the occupational therapy program.
· Candidates will collaborate with team members as needed to ensure processes are followed, updated, and implemented according to FSPT policies and procedures.
· Candidates will assist OTR in developing effective therapy programs to include assessments, consultation, and evaluative roles in the clinical setting.
· Essential Duties & Responsibilities – the following duties are normal for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
-Evaluates the child’s ability and formulates the child’s occupational profile through a variety of functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews.
-Interprets evaluation results and creates a comprehensive written report which reflects strengths and weaknesses that impedes the child’s participation in all environments, directs POC development, and creates individual intervention to achieve the child’s goals.
-Consults, adapts, and modifies the environment to meet individual needs and to help each child function as independently as possible.
-Educates the child, personnel, and family to facilitate skills in areas of occupation as well as health maintenance and safety.
-Monitors and reassess the effects of occupational therapy intervention and the need to continue, modify, or discontinue services, provides timely documentation of progress by comprehensive written reports as needed, daily treatment notes, billing charges in accordance with FSPT needs, policies & procedures.

-Documents occupational therapy services in a timely manner to ensure accountability of service provision and to meet standards for reimbursement of services as appropriate, maintain & complete daily logs/records to be reviewed personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures, professional standards, state guidelines, and federal regulations.
-OTRs will provide legal and ethical supervision of occupational therapy assistant(s) assuming responsibility for the caseload served by the assistant(s).
-Requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions such as in interpreting policies, decisions and procedures. Must be adaptable to performing under stress, must be adaptable to changes in schedules/closures/caseload numbers.
-Engages in effective/timely communication via email, text, phone, in person in a concise, clear, and effective manner.
-Exhibit strong organizational, management, interpersonal, and technical skills.
-Uses sound independent judgement and discretion in daily activities to include safety protocols, HIPPA and federal regulations, state laws, and company policies are followed.
-Provide own transportation to and from clinic(s) were occupational therapy services are provided.

Pay: $25.10 - $35.50 per hour
