Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with front office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience is preferred but on site training can be given to highly motivated individuals
- Proficiency in patient assessment, including taking vital signs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
