We are seeking a compassionate, confident and punctual addition to our reception team.
As a veterinary receptionist, you will:
*Pleasantly welcome clients and their pets to our facility
*Provide high quality customer service to clients in a variety of emotional states
*Patiently place and receive a high volume of client phone calls
*Clearly document client communications
*Maintain accurate financial records through payment processing and reconciliation of end-of-day reports
*Collaborate with clients and staff to efficiently schedule appointments and procedures
*Provide general information about products, rebate offers and services, driving sales by confidently demonstrating the value of service
*Calmly triage incoming appointments, including emergencies, when appropriate
*Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for clients and their pets
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Prior customer service experience, industry-related experience strongly preferred
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Proficiency with computers, including word processing and veterinary charting software
*Excellent attendance and punctuality
*Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Knowledge of proper phone and business etiquette
Bilingual team member preferred
