Seeking a meticulous Part-Time Bookkeeper/Assistant property manager to join our team. Bookkeeping responsibilities include bank reconciliations, bill payments, invoicing, rent collection, legal compliance, workers' comp oversight, year-end bookkeeping, payroll recording, and monthly profit and loss reports including executive summary backed up with transaction data for properties and trust accounts.
Must have Quickbooks and Excel/spreadsheet software experience.
Other responsibilities include tenant relations and daily inspections for the office building that houses' our office.
This role is estimated to be 20 hours per week (9-1) and an opportunity to contribute to our company's success and the building's success.
Responsibilities:
· Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
· Managing bill payments efficiently and on time.
· Collecting and recording rental payments from tenants (residential and commercial).
· Communicating and reporting of rent collections to property managers
· Overseeing workers' compensation compliance and facilitating yearly audits.
· Assisting with year-end bookkeeping tasks to supply our CPA with necessary tax information.
· Recording payroll accurately and timely.
· Managing transactions and monthly detailed reporting.
· Daily inspections and reporting of office building maintenance and tenant concerns to property manager
