Deposit Operations Specialist
The Deposit Operations Specialist supports routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking. Research items in accounts, daily processing of wire transfers, ACH transactions, debit card dispute and research, check fraud, daily reports for balancing and incoming returns, overdraft, and exception items to include charge-off, OD protections, NSFs, and general exception questions.
Responsibilities:
· The Deposit Operations Specialist supports routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking
· Research items in accounts, daily processing of wire transfers, ACH transactions, debit card dispute and research, check fraud, daily reports for balancing and incoming returns, overdraft, and exception items to include charge-off, OD protections, NSFs, and general exception questions
· Adaptability: Has the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new information and technology and can effectively relay those changes to the team
· Process deposit exception items such as non-post, NSF, stop payments, adjustments, and returned deposited items accurately and timely
· Provide online banking support with exceptional customer service
· Process Check Chargebacks
· Provide Bill Pay/ Zelle support
· Review and track overdrawn accounts; process deposit account charge-offs in accordance with bank policy
· Run monthly inactive fee report
· Process unauthorized Debit/FED check adjustments
· Responsible for printing and processing notices, letters, and interest checks
· Conduct and process wire transfers and wire agreements
· Process returned mail items
· Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service
· Will follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations
· Assists in answering telephones, answers questions and direct callers to proper Bank personnel
· Demonstrate flexibility to perform every other duty as assigned

· Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
Education and Experience:
Two to 3 years of job-related experience or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Relevant experience in banking or financial services required

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
