Supporting the finance department, accountant and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Prepares and maintains reports and executes basic bookkeeping duties for the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares financial documents such as invoices, bills and accounts payable/receivable.

Completes purchase orders.

Executes financial reports on a regular basis and provides information to the finance team

Assists with budgetary oversight and planning.

Completes bank reconciliations.

Enters financial information into appropriate software systems.

Processes business expenses.

Manages day-to-day transactions.

Verifies bank deposits.

Records office expenditures and ensures budget compliance.

Encodes accounting entries for data processing.

Resolves errors in reporting and corrects methods.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Data entry, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, payroll experience, account balancing experience, knowledge of business math and principles

High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials; establishing priorities; and meeting deadlines.

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or associated field.
