We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Finance & Grants Coordinator to join our team at Kairos Dwelling, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online.
- Managing, recording, and processing gift contributions.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Prepare financial reports for management and board of directors.
- Prepare grant proposals to secure funding for our vital programs and services.
- Assist with fundraising initiatives, including event planning and donor cultivation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior healthcare experience (hospice or related field) highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
