Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional teaching experience in a childcare center is preferred. At least 1 year of professional teaching experience is required.
- An Associate degree or equivalent in ECE or Colorado Lead Teacher credential. High school diploma/GED required. Certification of Qualified Teacher.
- PDIS Courses completed
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience in physical education, math, or tutoring is a plus.
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting to the needs of each child.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Create a cohesive team with the assistant teacher in your classroom to create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for children to learn, play and grow.
- Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
- Create and implement curriculum and work with toddlers in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive-development through play and structured activities.
- Conduct regular assessments to track children’s progress and identify areas of improvement.
- Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- Maintain daily cleaning and hygiene process, flexible to opening and closing the classroom.
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
