Insurance Sales Producer
The Award Winning Farmers Insurance District 58 is looking to hire an Insurance Sales Producer to mentor under a seasoned professional Agency owner, with an opportunity to then own their own business! The successful candidate will be comfortable in a sales environment and demonstrate their willingness and desire to run their own business after successfully completing the sales and demonstrating management skills. Delivering the highest level of customer service to our demanding client base is required. We sell property & casualty insurance to small and medium-sized businesses and their owners throughout Southern California. Motivated and disciplined individuals who have excellent organizational and communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate leadership and business development skills
- Implement marketing strategies to identify and build the agency with new clientele
- Establish and develop customer relationships and follow up with customers
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
- Become familiar with products, services, and systems
- Contribute to agency success through promoting new business, cross-selling, and new initiatives
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals
Requirements:
- Current Property & Casualty and Life Insurance license or willing to obtain
- Ability to obtain Series 6 & 63
- 1 year sales experience or client-facing background preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/Chinese/Korean speaking) a plus
- Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
- Must be coachable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)
- Work well with teammates to ensure seamless customer experience
- Confident self-starter who works well independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Clean background
